Based in St. Augustine, Florida, MOTO MEDIC provides professional mobile motorcycle repair and service throughout Northeast Florida, bringing the shop directly to you. MOTO MEDIC combines proven mechanical expertise with a modern mobile service approach designed to eliminate many of the frustrations riders face with traditional repair shops. No trailering your bike across town. No arranging rides home. No leaving your motorcycle behind for days or weeks wondering when the work will be completed. MOTO MEDIC comes to your home, workplace, roadside location, or wherever your motorcycle needs attention. Our fully equipped mobile motorcycle shop is designed to handle a wide range of repairs, maintenance, upgrades, inspections, and service needs right where you are.

With over three decades of motorcycle repair experience, we have spent years diagnosing problems, rebuilding engines, improving performance, solving difficult mechanical issues, and helping riders keep their motorcycles running the way they should.

MEET FRANCO The Mechanic Behind MOTO MEDIC

Behind MOTO MEDIC is Franco, a career motorcycle technician, engine builder, custom bike builder and lifelong motorcycle enthusiast whose experience spans everything from dealership diagnostics and complete engine rebuilds to research and development, police motorcycles and nationally recognized custom show bikes.

For Franco, MOTO MEDIC represents the next chapter in a career built around motorcycles. After decades of working in dealerships, independent shops and his own custom motorcycle business, he is taking that experience directly to the rider. Instead of bringing your motorcycle to the mechanic, Franco brings the shop to you.

A Career Built From the Ground Up

Franco began his professional training at Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI), graduating in 1996 among the top six students in his class. His technical education included Suzuki F.A.S.T. training along with specialized coursework in two-stroke and four-stroke performance.

Just as important as his technical accomplishments was a perfect attendance record throughout his training, an early indication of the work ethic and dependability that would follow him throughout his career. When Franco makes a commitment, showing up and following through are part of the job.

Following graduation, Franco joined Woodbridge Powersports in Woodbridge, New Jersey, where he worked from 1996 to 2001 as an A-Level Technician. His responsibilities included advanced motorcycle diagnostics, engine rebuilding and tuning, giving him years of hands-on experience solving mechanical problems rather than simply replacing parts.

From 2001 to 2004, Franco continued his career at Brunswick Powersports in East Brunswick, New Jersey. As an A-Level Technician, he was responsible for diagnostics and engine repair while also participating in research and development work involving Victory Motorcycles.

From Master Technician to Award-Winning Bike Builder

In 2004, Franco took his experience and creativity in a new direction by opening his own motorcycle shop, Cycle Innovations in Rahway, New Jersey.

This was where mechanical expertise and custom fabrication came together.

Franco designed and built custom-engineered show motorcycles that quickly earned recognition throughout the motorcycle community. During a single show season, his builds accumulated an impressive 54 awards at motorcycle shows throughout the East Coast.

These weren’t simply motorcycles made to look good under show lights. Franco’s approach combined engineering, mechanical performance, fabrication, design and attention to detail—building motorcycles that performed at the same level they presented.

In 2009, Franco joined Motorcycle Center in East Brunswick, New Jersey, working as a master technician and custom bike builder. His work expanded into high-end show motorcycles, custom audio systems and custom baggers, resulting in additional award-winning builds. Some of those motorcycles continue to receive recognition at shows years after they were originally built.

Harley-Davidson Experience

From 2011 through 2013, Franco brought his experience to Harley-Davidson in Rahway, New Jersey, serving as a Level 3 Technician.

His responsibilities included:

Performance and engine builds
Complete frame swaps
Motorcycle maintenance and repair
Harley-Davidson diagnostics
Police motorcycle setup

That experience further strengthened the V-Twin expertise that is now an important part of MOTO MEDIC.

Following his time with Harley-Davidson, Franco returned to Motorcycle Center, where he continued working as a technician and motorcycle builder from 2013 through 2026, handling diagnostics, repairs, custom builds, performance work and the complex mechanical projects that had become a hallmark of his career.

Now, The Shop Comes to You

After spending his career behind the doors of motorcycle shops, Franco saw an opportunity to provide riders with something different.

MOTO MEDIC Mobile Motorcycle Mechanic was created to bring that experience directly to the customer.

No loading your motorcycle onto a trailer. No coordinating a ride home after dropping it off. No unnecessarily leaving your bike sitting at a shop waiting for its turn.

Franco arrives with the experience, tools and knowledge to provide professional mobile motorcycle repair, diagnostics, maintenance, V-Twin service, performance upgrades and motorcycle service directly at the customer’s location.

For riders throughout St. Augustine and Northeast Florida, it means having access to a motorcycle mechanic whose experience extends far beyond routine service—and having that mechanic come directly to you.

Over the course of his career, Franco has been the dealership technician diagnosing the difficult problem, the engine builder bringing a motorcycle back to life, the fabricator creating a one-of-a-kind machine, the builder behind award-winning show bikes and the mechanic riders trust with motorcycles that matter to them.

Today, all of that experience is behind MOTO MEDIC.
